ConvertFast is a free online file conversion platform built for people who need to get things done quickly. We handle image conversions, document transformations, data format changes, and unit conversions — all from a single, clean interface that works on any device.
There are no tiers, no premium plans, and no file limits beyond the technical 10 MB cap. Every tool on the site is available to everyone, every time.
File conversion is one of those everyday tasks that feels like it should be simple — but existing tools often get in the way. They ask you to create an account. They show a download button that leads to an ad. They install a toolbar. They compress your file a second time without telling you.
ConvertFast was built to be the opposite of that. You upload a file, you get back a converted file. That's the entire experience.

Files are automatically deleted from our servers within 10 minutes. No account, no email, no file retention. Your data stays yours.
ConvertFast is built on Node.js and Express. Image processing uses the Sharp library, which is one of the fastest and most capable image processing engines available. PDF generation uses PDFKit. All server-side code is designed to be lightweight, and files are isolated per user so there is no cross-contamination between conversions.
File names are sanitized to prevent path traversal attacks, MIME types are validated server-side (not just based on file extension), and a scheduled cleanup job runs every few minutes to purge old temporary files.
